tac is an illustrator, musician and UX designer from the Netherlands with a passion for bold colours, expressive design and storytelling between physical and digital media. they create music under the alias of vera, etc. and as part of the band digital dream pop band florelle. they also started a netlabel called avant en garde! in 2020, which has grown to release work by multiple artists.

as an illustrator they predominantly work with musicians, creating cover artwork and promotional material for artists such as Kubbi, Fax Gang and the artists on their avant en garde! netlabel such as Cyanide Dansen, business pastel and florelle.

vera, etc. tracks have been featured on three installments of the MUTANTS MIXTAPE series, a community lead organisation raising funds and awareness for social causes, featuring artists from its community alongside established artists such as Arca, Matmos, Nicolas Jaar, Merzbow and clipping..

in 2021 they graduated from the Hanze University of Applied sciences in Groningen with a bachelor’s degree in visual design. during their studies they focused primarily on interaction design and UX, completing internships as a visual designer for web developer Ittica Media and as a UX researcher for the University Medical Center Groningen in conjunction with the University of Groningen, writing their thesis on designing an interactive environment enabling both teachers and students of the Master’s programme in Medicine to view and interact with study material to aid them in preparing for their classes.
