i worked with Fax Gang to create artwork for their “Rabbit in a Hat” single, released september 30, 2022. this was the first time i got asked to create artwork in my looser, diary art style, which features an expressive style of colouring and line work. in contrast to my other works, there is no emphasis put on a limited colour palette, allowing lots of bright colours to flourish against the dark grey lines and the white backdrop. the artwork’s imagery is inspired in part by the song’s lyrics, as well as recurring themes found in my diary artworks. the artwork was created using procreate. a time-lapse video is displayed below.
