“flying colours” is the sophomore album of florelle, a digital dream pop band consisting of Hexosphere, lumin and vera, etc. as vera, etc. I worked on music production, art direction and illustrative work for this project. flying colours was released november 4 2022 through avant en garde!
artwork for the individual tracks was made simultaneously to the original demos over the course of 11 weeks in the summer of 2022. all artwork has been made using a combination of traditional media (acrylic, watercolours, wax crayons, coloured pencil) and digital media. All artworks use coloured cardstock as a basis, with the exception of ’93 twingo and miss u, which have been made on the outside of my hardcover journal.
